Contented Parents, Peaceful Babies
This group will be available to parents with children born October 2007-April 2008. FREE! But we do ask that if you commit to the group to ake an attempt to attend the weekly sessions for a full learning experience for everyone. Caring for Infants with Respect using Waldorf and RIE approaches. Facilitator: Monika Eichler, LMSW, M.Ed. in Waldorf Early Childhood Education (2008), Parent-Child teacher at Prairie moon Waldorf School. What do infants really need, and how can parents recognize and meet those needs? What do parents need, and how can they recognize and meet their own needs? By becoming acquainted with some basic RIE ideas, parenting can become what it ought to be – much easier and pleasurable. The RIE approach is surprisingly simple and sommonsensical. Discussion of Waldorf early childhood deelopent theory will also aid in the understnding of the young child and infant. For more information, contact Monika Eichler, 785-865-6444, or monikae@sbcglobal.net.
