5:00-7:45 pm. The first Friday of each month is Buck Night, where from 5:00-7:45 pm, everyone swims for only $1 per person!

Make swimming a full-family affair! From 1:00 to 5:45 pm, Grandma and Grandpa swim for free at the Indoor Aquatic Center when accompanied by a grandchild.
Monday, March 15 (Spring Break)
Lifeguard Training Class

Monday-Friday, March 15-19 OR Tuesday/Thursdays, March 23-April 15. If you are a strong swimmer and are at least fifteen years old, the LIAC can give you the skills and certifications needed to become an American Red Cross-certified lifeguard! Learn to recognize and respond quickly and effectively to drownings, injuries, and other emergencies. Participants must be able to swim non-stop for 300 yards (100 yd crawl, 100 yd breaststroke, 100 yd crawl or breaststroke) and retrieve a 10 lb brick (swim 20 yd, surface dive to a depth of 7-10 feet, retrieve the brick, return to the surface, and swim 20 yd back with the brick). Attendance of all class sessions is required. The cost is $165, but for those who go on to work for Lawrence Parks and Recreation Aquatics, the majority of class fees will be reimbursed. Kids Night Out: Spring Fling

4:30-7:30 pm. Hey kids, join us for a night of springtime fun that’s just for you! Well have crafts and music, swimming fun and games, and even a pizza party. You can have fun without the folks, and Mom and Dad can rest easy knowing you’re in a safe, supervised location. Sign up today at any Lawrence Parks and Recreation facility or online at www.lprd.org. Must register by March 24. Ages: 5-12. Code: 111001 B. Fee: $15.
